Thank you for taking an interest in our second annual Tucson Gem Shows Educational Lecture Series!
Over the duration of the 2020 Tucson gem and mineral shows, Raining Rocks will be hosting the second annual Educational Lecture Series!
Each year a whopping 4,000 vendors and 65,000 visitors travel to Tucson for the Tucson gem and mineral shows. With this influx of people comes an influx of knowledge. Our goal is to facilitate the sharing of that knowledge.
The 2020 series will feature multiple speakers, and will occur over the entirety of the 18 days our Raining Rocks on Main venue is open. For anyone in Tucson, we will have limited seating available for those interested in joining us for a lecture.
For those of you unable to attend the presentations in person, we will be streaming live feeds and posting on a private Facebook group.
A significant aspect of the event is the funding of a scholarship! A portion of all ticket sales, silent auction sales, and donated products will contribute to our second scholarship for a local Tucson geology college student.
Our primary focus at Raining Rocks on Main is creating a fun educational environment for people of all ages and backgrounds. Ticket proceeds and donations collected will go towards the funding of a scholarship for a local geology student. Please check back often, we will continue to add more speakers to our schedule.
